HENBLAS CHARITY SNOWDROP WEEKLEND: Sally and Gwilym Lloyd Davies will throw open the gates to their home at Henblas for the public to walk around the gardens and woodlands to see the wonderful display of snowdrops in their natural environmen­t. The gates will be open for one weekend only this year between 11am and 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, February 9-10. The chosen charities are Cancer Research UK and Tenovus Cancer Care. Since the family have started opening their garden and woodland for these weekends 17 years ago they have raised over £58,000 and hope to add to this amount again this year. Entrance will be by a minimum donation of £2 per person. Teas, coffee and cakes will be available on sale as well as pots of well establishe­d snowdrops.
