MENAI BRIDGE CIVIC SOCIETY: meets on Thurs, Feb 21 at 2.30pm in the Community Centre, Water St. The speaker is Dr David Joyner former Director of the Confucius Centre at Bangor University. The Centre aims to tell the story of Chinese culture and language to the people of North Wales. The Centre and its students organised the Dragon Parade in Bangor on Saturday 9th Feb, part of the celebratio­ns to mark the Year of the Pig. Dr Joyner has travelled widely in China.
