THE LATEST FROM THE CATWALK, RED CARPET AND HIGH STREET

-

AS CRAZY as it seems, spring seems to have sprung early this year and we think it’s safe to say we’re all embracing the warmer, brighter days.

We thought we had another few weeks of recycling our winter wardrobes – we were wrong. That can only mean one thing, time for a spring wardrobe refresh!

Give your look a new lease of life with HOBBS’ most exciting spring/summer collection yet, inspired by its hometown of Hampstead Heath.

It features burnt oranges and hazy blues, reflecting the skies of a British summer, while oversized madras checks will add some modernity to your outfits. Clashing animal prints, rope belts and asymmetric hems, meanwhile, are offset by bold florals.

STREETWEAR is back in a big way, with lots of women awaiting the next big trainer release – but which ones lived up to the hype in 2018?

New data analysis by The Sole Womens, Western Europe’s hub for women’s casual footwear, reveals that – based on the total number of visits to their website last year – the most hyped release of 2018

was the Nike Air Max 98 Solar

Red (right).

Nike’s retro aesthetic proved to be a winning formula, providing throwback 90s vibes which took over the catwalks. They deliver comfort and flexibility from day to night, with fuchsia pink highlights set against a grey/black/white colourway.

Overall runner up was the reinvented Nike Air Force 1 (left) with a platform midsole and a chic, minimalistic upper.
