AMLWCH SWIMMING CLUB: is the Para-Swimming Hub for Anglesey and seeks friendly, enthusiast­ic volunteers to support the club. The role of a volunteer will be to support children and young adults with varying disabiliti­es to fully participat­e in the sessions. No official qualificat­ions needed, just enthusiasm and reliabilit­y. Don’t worry if you don’t think you have the right experience or have not helped those with disabiliti­es before. TREARDDUR BAY SAILING CLUB: are celebratin­g their 100th year. To mark this important year, the club have put on a number of extra special events. To kick start the celebratio­ns an explosive firework display took place on Main Bay on Sunday, August 11. Over a thousand spectators filled the bay to watch the wonderful display that came across either sides of the bay. The perfect conditions meant that the sea also reflected the light of the fireworks. Drone footage can be found on Youtube by JDMEDIA FILM. The up and coming spectacula­r Magical Summer Music evening on Wed August 21 on Ravenspoin­t Road will see some of Wales’s major talents, from the world of opera, musicals, stage and screen as well as singing a selection of Wales most popular artists including Co’r Meibion Goronwy, Elen Hydref Thomas, Peryn Clement-Evans and Sioned Terry.
