No seventh heaven for Cook

-

Last weekend saw the seventh round of the British Touring Car championship held at Rockingham, with Bath speedster Josh Cook in action. Cook retired his Power Maxed Tag Racing backed Vauxhall Astra from his first race with power steering problems, but not before he set the fastest lap of the race in a time of 1min 24.74secs and a speed of 82.4mph. He started his second race from 28th on the grid and made his way up to 12th place at the finish. A light rain shower at the start of the third race saw a few caught out by the damp track, which brought the safety car out. Throughout the race Cook was just out side the top ten and with three laps to go was in a five-car dice for seventh, but had to settle for 12th.
