Trick or treat at Hal­loween quiz night?

If you’re en­ter­ing a quiz you might ex­pect to need to use brain power, but a Hal­loween one later this month also re­quires ap­ple bob­bing skills. Bath Rugby Pres­i­dent David Trick is host­ing a spooky quiz at the Apex City of Bath Ho­tel later this month. Tricky’s Hal­loween Trick or Treat Quiz takes place on Wed­nes­day, Oc­to­ber 31 with all money raised go­ing to Bath Rugby Foun­da­tion. The en­try cost for each team of five is £100 and ev­ery mem­ber will be treated to a two-course meal. One course will be pro­vided by the Apex and the other by quiz­mas­ter Trick, un­der the ex­pert tute­lage of Richard Bertinet. The event be­gins at 6.30pm, with food served from 7pm. The quiz will start at 7.45pm, where teams of five will com­pete in sev­eral rounds, in­clud­ing a ‘par­tic­i­pa­tion round,’ with prizes also avail­able for teams who come up with the best, most orig­i­nal team name. “When putting your team to­gether, be sure to look for skills in ap­ple bob­bing and eat­ing can­dyfloss from the ceil­ing – it may come in use­ful,” ad­vised Mr Trick, also cor­po­rate fundraiser for the Bath Rugby Foun­da­tion. “This will be the best quiz of 2018 and we are look­ing for­ward to rais­ing a lot of money for the Foun­da­tion. “Be pre­pared for any­thing and ev­ery­thing.” Bath Rugby Foun­da­tion is Bath Rugby’s char­ity and em­pow­ers vul­ner­a­ble chil­dren and young peo­ple in Bath and North East Som­er­set to suc­ceed. The foun­da­tion uses the val­ues of rugby to in­spire young peo­ple to cre­ate a health­ier, pos­i­tive fu­ture for them­selves, fo­cus­ing on im­prov­ing Ed­u­ca­tion, Em­ploy­a­bil­ity and In­clu­sion.
