Trick or treat at Halloween quiz night?

-

If you’re entering a quiz you might expect to need to use brain power, but a Halloween one later this month also requires apple bobbing skills. Bath Rugby President David Trick is hosting a spooky quiz at the Apex City of Bath Hotel later this month. Tricky’s Halloween Trick or Treat Quiz takes place on Wednesday, October 31 with all money raised going to Bath Rugby Foundation. The entry cost for each team of five is £100 and every member will be treated to a two-course meal. One course will be provided by the Apex and the other by quizmaster Trick, under the expert tutelage of Richard Bertinet. The event begins at 6.30pm, with food served from 7pm. The quiz will start at 7.45pm, where teams of five will compete in several rounds, including a ‘participation round,’ with prizes also available for teams who come up with the best, most original team name. “When putting your team together, be sure to look for skills in apple bobbing and eating candyfloss from the ceiling – it may come in useful,” advised Mr Trick, also corporate fundraiser for the Bath Rugby Foundation. “This will be the best quiz of 2018 and we are looking forward to raising a lot of money for the Foundation. “Be prepared for anything and everything.” Bath Rugby Foundation is Bath Rugby’s charity and empowers vulnerable children and young people in Bath and North East Somerset to succeed. The foundation uses the values of rugby to inspire young people to create a healthier, positive future for themselves, focusing on improving Education, Employability and Inclusion.
