-

There is so much on across the Achieve weekend, it’s understandable if you’re not sure where to start. Why not take the chance to get out of your comfort zone and try something new. If you’re looking for a broad taste to kickstart a healthier happier life, give this line-up a go.

Saturday

■ Head to the exhibition to pick up a healthy energy boost to start the day. The Big Juice stand will be on hand with their tasty nutritionpacked blends including the exclusive Achieve Smoothie. If they win you over, Big Juice can deliver personalised blends straight to your door. Perhaps you’ll want to check out their innovative juice ‘shots’ menu with amazing health benefits in a down-in-one.

■ Ready and raring to go, head to The School of Strut with Zoe Mcnulty in breakout room two from 11 to 11.30am. Zoe will give a talk exposing the manipulations of diet culture and dispelling myths about weight. Then see a demonstration of Strut designed to empower people to feel comfortable in their bodies.

■ Be in breakout room one by 1.30pm to hear Carl Vernon’s 45 minute presentation on Anxiety Rebalance. He had to find answers to crippling stress that once upon a time made him housebound. So for the last decade he has been helping people overcome their conditions with bestselling books and talks such as this.

■ We all face heartbreak at some point in our lives, and that’s where Sara Davison, aka The Divorce Coach comes in. The best-selling author will share How to Survive a Break-up and Move on to Create the Life You Want to Live in breakout room one from 2.30 to 3.15pm.

■ Feeling invincible, rush to the main stage to hear the master firewalk instructor Lottie Moore on Why Not You? Why Not Now? From 3.15 to 4.15pm. Lottie believes in walking the path less travelled and is all about supporting others to do the same.

Sunday

■ After cooling down, try some laughter therapy with Helen Lederer on the main stage from 12.30 to 1.30pm presenting Odd One In. Her appearance at Achieve comes after she wowed crowds at the Edinburgh Fringe with her autobiographical stand-up. With her appearances on some of the top comedy shows in 1980s, and more recently spending time in the Big Brother house, she’s bound to have hilarious stories to share.

■ Then on the main stage for an hour from 2pm where ITV’S Love Your Garden celebrity David Domoney will share The Power of Plants for Better Health. David will show you the tricks of the trade and how you can turn your garden into a relaxing and inspiring oasis of colour and happiness.

■ Spend the afternoon enjoying the range of exhibitors at Achieve. For a Sunday afternoon treat head to Avery’s, fifth generation wine merchants. You’ll soon find that sharing their passion for wine is at the heart of what Averys do – and their expertise is unrivalled.

■ With a little bit of Dutch courage on board, check out the Divine Divas stand. Their highly sophisticated boudoir photography is all about making women feel their most beautiful, regardless of age or body type.
