Laura Ashley’s closing sales

-

Laura Ashley stores in Bath, Shepton Mallet, Taunton and Yeovil have all reopened after the coronavirus shutdown - only to announce closing down sales.

In April, administrators secured a sale of the Laura Ashley brand, but the deal did not include any of its 147 stores, nor its manufacturing and logistics operations in the UK.

In the closing down sales everything has at least 40 per cent off.

Offers include 50 per cent off furniture, lighting and bedding, as well as at least 50 per cent off all womenswear and fashion accessories. Ready-made curtains are 60 per cent off.

A date has not yet been announced for the final shutdown of shops. They will continue to trade until further notice.

A Laura Ashley spokesman said: “With 50 per cent off all furniture, customers can find some beautiful, quality pieces at an amazing price.

“Furniture has proved popular since the sale began, so if you’re looking for a particular item, be sure to check online as well as in store for your best chance.”
