Live show to keep boules funds rolling
A live broadcast featuring comedy, music, food and drink will be replacing the popular Bath Boules event this year to keep money coming in for good causes.
Boulesaid is taking place next Thursday – and everyone is invited to join in.
The event will see a live show broadcast direct to people’s homes featuring top names in a unique celebration of Bath, including a variety of entertainment from local people and hosted by funnyman Mark Olver.
Anyone can tune in to watch the show, which will be jam-packed with music, comedy and some familiar faces from the city.
Boulesaid has also teamed up with Pixie to provide food deliveries from local restaurants, with orders open from Monday, July 27.
Donations from those tuning in next Thursday will be vital to support some fantastic causes. Plus, if you donate £10 or more, you’ll automatically be included in the Boulesaid raffle prize draw. If you’re interested in supplying a raffle donation for this year or getting involved as a food and drink supplier, let the organisers know.
Charities have been affected hugely by event cancellations this year, as they were one of their main sources of income.
This new initiative aims to find an alternative way of supporting them with help from the local community.
Bath Boules organiser Greg Ingham said: “This summer, think
Children in Need or Sports Relief, just for Bath. It’ll also feature music, comedy, entertainment, famous faces and more, all in the heart of Bath.”
He added: “The final amount raised for charities depends on the generosity of the sponsors, partners and attendees, and how much is raised through event donations, raffle and food and drink across the Boulesaid evening.”

All proceeds from donations will be distributed to local charities, via the Bath Boules Trust.
