A burglar forced the door of a Bath flat, but only stole mail from the communal hallway.

The burglary in Marlborough Buildings took place between 4.30pm and 6.15pm on November 4.

The robber gained entry to the building with a key, having forced open a key safe.

The door of the flat targeted was similarly forced open. However, nothing was stolen from the property itself.

Avon and Somerset Police are asking any witnesses or those with information to get in touch with them.
