People who broke coronavirus restrictions during the first lockdown have been fined by Bath Magistrates’ Court.

The cases were dealt with via the single justice procedure, a process when a defendant enters a guilty plea so magistrates can pass sentence based on information provided, without defendants needing to attend court.
