Former PM’S home on sale for £3.5m

These pictures show the Somerset house once home to a British prime minister which is now is on the market for £3.5 million.

Pitt House in Bath, built in 1792, was home to William Pitt the younger who was Britain’s youngest Prime Minister at the age of 24 in 1783.

William Pitt, inset, lived at the house between 1801 and 1804, the period between his two terms at Prime Minster.

The house was also home to the offices of the Bath Conservati­ve Associatio­n for many years. As well as having some impressive historical credential­s, the Grade I-listed Georgian townhouse is centrally located and is incredibly furnished.

Nowadays, the property has been restored into a luxurious family home, with 18 chandelier­s, Aston Martin upholstery, eight TVS and a room dedicated purely to present wrapping.
