Top-tier ranking for law firm

Stone King has again been recognised for its legal expertise by independen­t guide Legal 500.

The Bath-headquarte­red firm has retained its top tier rankings for the key areas of Education, Charities and not-for-profit, and Crime.

There was also recognitio­n for a host of other teams operating across the country, including strong Tier 2 rankings for the three categories of Immigratio­n, Employment and Public Sector.

In addition, the Legal 500 praised the work of many of the firm’s lawyers with education partner Graham Burns again in the guide’s Hall of Fame, alongside Julian Blake, charity & social enterprise partner, and consultant Ann Phillips.

Leading Individual rankings were also awarded to head of independen­t schools, Helen Tucker, Tim Rutherford, head of charity & social enterprise, and head of immigratio­n Julie Moktadir.

Senior associate Alexandra Steffensen achieved Rising Star status while Joanne Burton is recognised as a Next Generation Partner as well as a Rising Star for her practice in the commercial property team.

There is also further recognitio­n for dozens of lawyers across the firm’s sectors of business, charity, education and private client law. Managing partner Steven Greenwood, inset, said: “We’re delighted with this year’s Legal 500 rankings awarded as a result of client feedback and independen­t research.

The Legal 500 carries out extensive independen­t research, including speaking to clients, before awarding its rankings.
