Air ambulance is star of festive scenes

-

A festive scene on Bath’s Royal Crescent features on Wiltshire Air Ambulance’s new Christmas cards.

The charity’s helicopter is seen hovering above a snowy Royal Crescent, at the heart of the city, in one of seven new designs for 2021.

There’s also the option of the air ambulance’s base, featuring both the helicopter and RRV, plus the Bell 429 over Devizes Crammer and at a wintry Salisbury Cathedral.

Christmas cards are priced £4 for a pack of ten cards and envelopes.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance community relationship and volunteer manager Cas Loudon said: “We like to feature iconic landmarks on our Christmas cards and we’re really pleased to include Bath, Devizes and Salisbury in this year’s collection, as well as our airbase at Semington.

“The funds raised from our Christmas cards will help us to continue saving lives across Wiltshire, Bath and surrounding areas.”

Christmas cards can also be purchased from our charity shop in Devizes, at 2 Maryport Street.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance has also launched its own 2022 calendar, featuring incredible images taken by Sony award-winning photographer Terry Donnelly and pictures from the charity’s own pilots and paramedics.

Costing £8, the A3 calendar will help generate vital funds for the charity’s lifesaving service at the same time.

Wiltshire Air Ambulance is a charity that needs to raise £4 million a year to continue flying and saving lives. Last year the charity carried out its lifesaving operations 166 times in Bath.
