BBC Music Magazine’s choice of the UK’S best concerts and operas, plus a guide to Ravel’s Gaspard de la nuit

On 3 March we’ll be packing a member of the BBC Music Magazine team off to Birmingham along with pyjamas and teddy. The reason? An all-night piano recital at the city’s Town Hall. The nocturnal music-making begins at 7.30pm, with performers including Peter Donohoe, Di Xiao (pictured) and a ‘mystery special guest’.
