Rolf den Otter, Delft, Holland Ivan Ilic´’s exploration of Reicha piano works fascinates me. This is flamboyant music that Ilic´ plays with style. He doesn’t overplay the harmonic shifts and sudden outbursts, and the chromatic triplets in first movement of the C major Sonata are timed just right.
