4 COLOURFUL CRITTER
My husband and I occasionally make a trip to Anza-Borrego Desert State Park, California to visit my father-in-law. Due to recent heavy rains, the desert floor was flourishing with wildflowers. We were walking through the fields of blooms when something caught my eye on a stem. It was a beautiful white-lined sphinx moth caterpillar bathing in the warmth of the sun, so despite the heat, I sat down on the floor and snapped away. Cherisse Johnson, California, USA
