Big cats in 10 “at-risk” areas in China and other parts of the world are to benefit from $20m (£15m) funding from a wealthy Chinese philanthropist. The conservation group Panthera says the first phases of the 10-year programme will concentrate on snow leopards in China and lions in Africa.
