Numbers add up for NI theatre group in America

AN award-winning children’s theatre company from Northern Ireland is showcasing its work on the international stage.

Cahoots NI has begun a threemonth US tour in Miami.

The company will premiere Light! Camera! Math!, a multimedia and educational production designed to promote an interest in maths. The show will visit Florida, New York, Detroit, Las Vegas and Texas.

Cahoots NI presented their adaptation of Chris Haughton’s Shh! We Have A Plan in Madison, Wisconsin on Friday.

It is based on a picture book about a beautiful bird, four friends and plans gone wrong.

Cahoots’ artistic director Paul Bosco McEneaney said: “We are thrilled to embark on this adventure, bringing two wonderfully unique productions to young audiences and their families across America.

“Lights! Camera! Math! is an engaging and highly entertaining show that puts the magic into maths in a mind-boggling and fantastically fun way.”
