Stockdale and Best proving inspirational for Ireland side

-

These are glory days for the Ireland rugby team, which has underlined its world class by winning the Six Nations Championship for the third time in five years.

It has been a particularly glorious tournament for the young Ulster and Irish player Jacob Stockdale who has equalled a 104-year record by scoring multiple tries in successive games in this four, five and now Six Nations Championship.

Ireland stand on the cusp of an historic Grand Slam if they beat England at Twickenham next week, which is no easy task. How wonderful this would be for our own Rory Best, the Irish captain, and for everyone on this island.
