Poldark actress thrilled with her new folk album

Debut record: Eleanor Tomlinson POLDARK star Eleanor Tomlinson is to release a debut album of folk-influenced covers.

She has covered the likes of Simon and Garfunkel and Carole King on Tales From Home as well as a number of traditiona­l Irish and Scottish folk songs.

The record is produced by the woman behind Poldark’s soundtrack, Oscar-winning composer Anne Dudley.

Tomlinson said: “To have the opportunit­y to perform some of my favourite songs with Anne Dudley’s brilliant new arrangemen­ts has been wonderful, not to mention working alongside my brother Ross.

“I’m incredibly excited to announce the release of my debut album Tales From Home.”
