- BY SHERNA NOAH

Comedy: Jeremy Vine JEREMY Vine is turning agony uncle in a spoof radio comedy.

Actor Lewis MacLeod plays the broadcaster, who is known for his lunchtime slot on Radio 2, in a new show on the same BBC station.

As Vine, he will give advice to the world’s celebrities in the part-scripted, part-improvised phone-in.

“Whenever he pauses to play a record, he knows he has three minutes to offer off-air advice to the world’s great and good,” Radio 2 said of the show.

It is one of several new Radio 2 comedies, including Proposal, a sitcom starring Inbetweeners actor Joe Thomas and Doctor Who star Pearl Mackie, and a panel show hosted by Sara Cox.
