Co Antrim nursing home invests in improved facilities
A CO Antrim nursing home has finished a major upgrade of its facilities.
Rylands Nursing Home on the Doagh Road in Kells has completed a over decade-long programme of refurbishment which has included improvements to residents’ rooms, as well as to communal spaces and grounds. The investment was supported by Ulster Bank.
The home, owned by the Duncan family, was expanded in 2010 with 10 more rooms added.
It now has a 45-bed nursing unit and a 14-bed residential unit. Trevor Duncan, managing director at Rylands Nursing Home, said he had carried out continuous investment over 11 years.
