Third say too much TV sex

-

More than a third of Northern Ireland viewers believe there is too much sex on TV.

Ofcom surveys attitudes to offensive language, sex and violence on an annual basis.

Some 35% of local viewers feel that television programmes have got worse in the last year; that there is too much sex (35%), too much offensive language (39%) and too much violence (36%).

Some 72% of people believe 9pm is a suitable time for the watershed — before which programmes on domestic channels should be suitable for a general audience, including children.
