Two taken to hospital after Belfast crash
TWO people were taken to hospital yesterday after a three-vehicle crash in Belfast.
A red van was pictured at the scene with two taxis in a row directly behind it.
Damage to the middle vehicle was the most visible, with the front of the car badly smashed.
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) was called to the junction of Millfield and Peter’s Hill at 1.46pm with reports of a crash.
A spokesperson from the NIAS said an accident and emergency crew was dispatched.
Following an assessment and initial treatment, two patients were taken to the Royal Victoria Hospital.
Heavy traffic disruption followed for about and hour afterwards, with two out-of-town lanes on the junction blocked.
