Appeal over man stabbed on Twelfth

A MAN in his 20s is recovering from stab wounds and a punctured lung after being attacked on the Twelfth.

Police are appealing for information following the stabbing in the Ballykeel area of Ballymena in the early hours of last Thursday.

Details of the incident were only released yesterday.

It was reported that at approximately 2.30am on July 12 the victim was stabbed and then treated for a punctured lung and a wound to his back. Police said his injuries are not life-threatening.

Detectives appealed for witnesses and urged anyone with information to contact 101, quoting reference 340 12/07/18.
