New plea for details about Allen murder

- BY STAFF REPORTER

GARDAI have renewed their appeal for information about the murder of Londonderry man Andrew Allen, seven years after he died.

Mr Allen (24) was shot dead at his home in Buncrana, Co Donegal, on February 9, 2012.

A Garda spokesperson said that the killers had travelled to Buncrana from Derry city that evening.

There have been a number of arrests over the years, but nobody has been convicted of Mr Allen’s murder.

“If you have any information in relation to the killers, gardai are asking you to do the right thing and come forward to assist in securing justice for Andrew,” a Garda spokesperson said.

“Many people have been arrested and questioned over the past seven years and An Garda Siochana are grateful for all those who have assisted the investigation.”

Gardai can be contacted on 074 93 20540 or the confidential line 1800 666 111.
