It’s a monk’s life for Carmelo the schnauzer (pictured right), after he was rescued from a life on the streets by the monks at St Francis Monastery in the town of Cochabamba, Bolivia. Not only did they give him his own habit, but they’ve also nicknamed him Friar Bigotón – or Friar Moustache! He certainly doesn’t look melan- collie any more...
