Christine Bleakley reveals her hubby, footballer Frank Lampard, is tormented by dreams of her being unfaithful

They appear to be the perfect couple - rich, glamorous and madly in love. But Christine Bleakley has revealed that her marriage is haunted by fears of infidelity.

And, while it’s not uncommon for footballers’ wives to feel insecure, this time it’s hubby Frank Lampard who’s been having nightmares that his wife will stray.

‘He had these weird little dreams,’ she revealed on Loose Women. ‘He’d wake up and say, “I’m not talking to you this morning.” I’d ask him why, and he’d say, “I dreamt you were a bit naughty last night.”’

Frank and Christine, both 38, tied the knot in London on 20 December 2015.

Their relationship – with Christine playing stepmum to his two daughters, Luna, 11, and Isla, nine – is an oasis of calm compared to his more fiery union with the girls’ mum, Elen Rivas. The pair were engaged, but never made it up the aisle, before their relationship ended in an acrimonious split in 2008.

So what could be making Frank fear that Christine could be tempted to cheat?

Christine believes it’s a sign of how much they value their relationship. ‘ We’ve got a very positive kind of jealousy, where we appreciate each other and we’d hate for it all to end,’ she said.
