Apple & cinnamon bircher

Ingredient­s

200ml apple juice 80g oats 1 apple (approx 130g) grated ¼tsp cinnamon 2tbsp (90g) 0% Greek-style yoghurt 12 almonds sliced

Directions

1 Combine oats, apple juice, grated apple and cinnamon in a bowl.

2 Place into two glasses and cover with cling film. Leave to soak for at least 30 mins or overnight in fridge.

3 Remove from the fridge and top with yoghurt and chopped nuts.

Additional informatio­n: Oats are high in protein and fibre while being rich in vitamins E and B. They are believed to soothe the digestive system while reducing cholestero­l. This breakfast takes minutes to make and can be left in fridge overnight for the morning. Make in jars for a great, on-the-go breakfast.
