Since winning Love Island with Amber Davies, Kem Cetinay has proved he’s a TV natural. Watch out, Rylan, there’s a new boy in town!
Every now and then, a fresh face comes along who’s both young and tremendously good looking, and for reasons all too understandable, they’re a massive hit.
One such sculpted face belongs to Kem Cetinay, 21, who won steamy reality TV show Love Island with Amber Davies, 20, last month.
Now, handsome Essex boy Kem looks set to be the next big male media personality regularly gracing our screens. Even grime star Stormzy, who gave him music tips on the show, says he’s ‘serious’ about cutting a track with him!
Since we were first introduced to charismatic Kem on the Majorca-set show, he quickly won over not only his new girlfriend, Amber, but the hearts of the nation, with his good looks and charming humour.
It comes as no surprise that since the show ended, opportunities have been coming in thick and fast for the genetically blessed pair.
Last week, Kem and Amber announced they will be joining the team at Good Morning Britain later this month to step in for Richard Arnold.
The news comes after GMB host Piers Morgan, their future colleague, treated them with utter disdain, branding the Love Islanders as the most ‘cretinous’ and ‘stupid’ people he’d ever seen.
Displaying the playful nature we all know and love, Kem tweeted, ‘Have you heard the news, Piers? Catch you at work very soon,’ adding the cheeky hashtag #seeyouinthecanteen.
Another TV star possibly feeling like Kem might be treading on his toes is Rylan Clark-Neal, 28, who hosts the showbiz news on ITV sister show This Morning.
Having enjoyed a similar rise to fame following his own success on The X Factor in 2012, Rylan could be facing some stiff competition as our bestloved cheeky telly chappy.
Meanwhile, the future looks bright for Kem – we can’t wait to see what he does next!
