Andrea’s shock wedding U-turn!
She went abroad with her hunky fiancé, then teased us with photos of their joint hen and stag dos but, now, they’re back and still single. So what went wrong?

After two painful divorces, Loose Women presenter Andrea McLean was done with love – in fact, she vowed never to marry again. But all that changed when she met businessman Nick Feeney, 44, on a blind date three years ago.
Having weathered a series of relationship challenges, Nick finally popped the question last month prompting Andrea to joke on Loose Women, ‘I’m not a hypocrite... I just changed my mind!’
She opened up about her marriage U-turn, telling her fellow panel, ‘I genuinely felt like I didn’t want to marry again. But after we’d been together for a couple of years, Nick said, “It actually makes me feel really bad, like you don’t want to marry me.” I hadn’t considered that.’
In the end, the deciding vote went to the couple’s children – Nick has two daughters, Tia-Lilly, 14, and Sienna, 11, from a previous marriage and Andrea has son Finlay, 15, and daughter Amy, 10, from each of her former unions.
‘Actually it was the kids that wanted us to do it. They wanted that security,’ Andrea, 47, confirmed.
So with the blessing of all of their children secured, the whole family headed off on holiday to Europe last month, and that’s when the rumour mill sprang into action.
Andrea posted a cute photo of the group on Instagram showing them sporting gold ‘Team Bride’ wrist tattoos and was tagged #hendo # stagdo.
But hold the confetti, it seems the couple’s love plans were hit by a serious case of red tape. Back home, minus a new wedding band, Andrea admitted, ‘ We want to get married with just the children there, and we’d already planned a family holiday, so we though we’d give it a go.
‘But you have to be really boring and organise it before you get there. So we wanted to and we couldn’t.’
But watch this space. We think Andrea has waited long enough for her Prince Charming. Our bet is those wedding bells will be ringing before the year is out!
