The odds may be against her, but Strictly contestant Ruth Langsford hasn’t let that dampen her competitive spirit, telling best last week, ‘I’m going to take that glitter ball home!’ Ruth is practising hard at her cha-cha-chá in the kitchen with son Jack, 15, who she says isn’t ‘at all embarrassed’ about his mum shaking her thing on the telly! Ruth, 57, added, ‘I feel like I’m doing this for all those menopausual women my age sat at home dreaming of going on Strictly.’ Time to put your best foot forward, Ruth…
