Coleen’s revenge: ‘Playing the dutiful wife is over’

Talk about a turnaround! Only a year after pledging not to wear revealing outfits on Strictly ‘out of respect’ for her husband, Louise Redknapp, 42, is wearing super-skimpy costumes as the leading lady in a smokinghot production of Cabaret.

Former Eternal member Louise and husband Jamie Redknapp, 44, have been facing rumours of marital strife for months. And Louise appeared on This Morning recently (with her wedding ring on) and confessed mysteriously, ‘ We all go through hard times.’

While not addressing whether she’s splitting from her husband, she explained that the priority for both her and Jamie was the kids.

She also said of her raunchy stage role, ‘Sometimes, in life, you have to be fearless.’ And Louise certainly seems to be embracing a more confident persona, and livelier social life – stepping out with model Daisy Lowe, who she became close to on Strictly.

For his part, Jamie has been seen without his wedding band, and uploaded a family photo to his Instagram – previously uploaded by his wife – with Louise cropped out.

After marrying Jamie in 1998, you could argue Louise put her career on the backburner to become a mum to their sons Charley, 13, and Beau, nine. Now, for the first time in a good while, it seems this WAG is putting herself first. Watch out, because she’s looking sexier and more confident than ever!
