THE OTHER LADY IN EAMONN’S LIFE

Ruth and Eamonn welcomed a new addition to the family a couple of years ago – their rescue dog, Maggie. And they’re both smitten. ‘I love it – Maggie’s been great for me,’ says Ruth. ‘When we got her, I used to moan at Eamonn and Jack for not walking her enough but, secretly, I like doing it – it’s very de-stressing. ‘Maggie is the queen of our household. Eamonn has gone completely soppy since we got her. He’s her favourite, which annoys me as I walk her and feed her but, as soon as he comes in, she’ll go and jump on his lap. And I hear him talking to her the whole time – it’s very sweet.’
