WHAT’S TURMERIC?
The vibrant yellow spice is big in the world of wellness, because of a substance called curcumin, which is an amazing antiinflammatory and antioxidant. It may help with arthritis, eczema, acne and, possibly, even depression. Use it in your cooking or take curcumin capsules (available at health food shops). NB: You shouldn’t take more than 1,500 milligrams a day and consult your GP if you’re already on medication.
