Calum: Radical change isn’t easy and, for most people, making a drastic lifestyle adjustment in one overnight swoop is too big of an ask. But – and I should know – taking small baby steps towards your goal or dream can transform your life. If I can come from the darkness of no self-belief, with only one or two changes, to now being in a great place, then anyone can! I’ve put together five steps to help your journey towards your goal...
Step 1: Exercising. This is one of the most important steps to over-all wellbeing. We all know the saying ‘health is our wealth’. You don’t have to join a gym or get a personal trainer – just move more! Walk to the shops and take the stairs, not the lift.
Step 2: Write it down! Putting pen to paper helps with productivity. Writing down aims, goals and plans is a technique widely used by very successful people. The art of writing down what you want to accomplish increases your chances of getting it done 10-fold.
Step 3: Visualisation is a way to harness the law of attraction. Picturing your outcome, saying you want to get something done. I go to the extent of visualising what the look and feeling is like when I’ve accomplished my dream. Put it out there – tell the universe what you want!
Step 4: Manifestation is the art of thoughts creating things. I am a strong believer, and I believe this has worked in my own personal life. I manifest daily. I manifest that I’m not a victim and I can create my own happiness, I manifest that my business will reach a good point by a certain time. I say I am happy and healthy.
Step 5: Gratitude. Be grateful for what you’ve got. Count your blessings. It’s important when we are aiming for things to take a step back, and be glad for what we already have. It could be a loving family, an enjoyable job or just a sunny day! Go for it!
