As part of the celebratio­ns to mark 70 years of the National Health Service, Davina McCall presents this three-part series broadcast live from Leeds General Infirmary. Cameras will explore emergency medicine across the whole city, from the 999 call to the ambulance, right through to treatment in Accident & Emergency (A&E). Davina says, ‘ We all owe a great debt to the incredible NHS team, whose skill and commitment each and every day is focused on helping us whenever we’re in need. They never know exactly what they’re going to face, but they’re always prepared to do their best, and it’s going to be fascinatin­g to see them up close doing their vital work. This will be one of the toughest jobs of my career, and I’m honoured and humbled to be joining them for this special week.’

2 Chelsea Flower Show TUES-SAT, BBC ONE, FROM 3.45PM, AND BBC TWO, 8PM

Catch up on the best of the blooms, as the BBC broadcasts live from the world’s most famous flower show. Expect gorgeous gardens, plus the odd famous face dropping by to admire the show.

3 Jamie’s Quick & Easy Food MON, CHANNEL 4, 8PM

Mr Oliver returns with a new series of the show that teaches even the most culinary challenged how to knock up tasty meals in minutes. The series kicks off with mouthwater­ing recipes for flaky pastry pesto chicken, spicy ’nduja vongole, a sausage bake and a watermelon granite. Yum.

4 Manchester: The Night Of The Bomb TUES, BBC TWO, 9PM

This harrowing hour-long documentar­y tells the story of the devastatin­g terror attack at Ariana Grande’s concert in the Manchester Arena last year. In forensic detail, they look through the eyes of teenage girls who survived, witnesses and members of the emergency services.

5 Early Man OUT NOW, SKY STORE

Wallace and Gromit creator Nick Park returns with a brilliant stop-motion animation about a plucky caveman with a love of football. There’s a terrific cast, including Timothy Spall, Eddie Redmayne, Miriam Margolyes and Tom Hiddleston.
