1 Love Island DAILY, ITV2, 9PM NEW SERIES

It’s back to the island of love, as the sizzling dating show returns – and after last year’s smash hit series, the bar will be set high. A fresh batch of singletons, including Dani Dyer (the daughter of her EastEnders’ namesake), a handsome Welsh doctor and a stunning West End star – will be searching for true love under the scorching sun. And presenter Caroline Flack ( herself newly engaged) couldn’t be more excited. ‘People have realised it’s so much more than just being another reality show. It’s about real relationsh­ips and how they develop, and people always see a bit of themselves in everyone. It reminds you of the old-fashioned way of dating. These days, when everyone is on Tinder and Instagram, it actually is the style of having a conversati­on and getting to know one another. It’s old school dating,’ she says.

2 Our Girl TUESDAY, BBC ONE, 9PM, NEW SERIES

Michelle Keegan returns in the hit Army drama, which sees squaddie Georgie still grieving over the death of Elvis. She throws herself into a mission to Nigeria, but places herself and her section in danger when she goes off grid, and is kidnapped by rebels.

3 Soccer Aid For Unicef 2018 SUNDAY, ITV, 6.30PM

This annual football match, in aid of Unicef, sees Robbie Williams ( left) skipper an England team that includes Paddy McGuinness, Lee Mack, Sir Mo Farah, Joe Wicks and Olly Murs. They are taking on Olympic hero Usain Bolt’s ‘rest of the world’ squad, which includes Eric Cantona and Nicky Byrne. Watch it live from Old Trafford, Manchester.

4 Supershopp­ers THURSDAY, CHANNEL 4, 8PM NEW SERIES

Anna Richardson and Sabrina Grant turn retail superheroe­s with the show that investigat­es how you can get more bang for your buck. In the first episode, the dedicated duo investigat­e batteries, the growing vegan trend, and check out whether John Lewis is really ‘never knowingly undersold’.

5 Cruising With Jane McDonald FRIDAY, CHANNEL 5, 9PM NEW SERIES

Jane gets back on board – this time heading Down Under. She kicks off in Sydney, where her adventures include a tour of the world-famous opera house, before heading to Tasmania for an encounter with a wombat.
