The ‘troubling’ truth behind Kelly’s new man
Model and presenter Kelly Brook has shocked fans with disturbing details about her relationship with boyfriend Jeremy Parisi...
‘Jeremy definitely parents me sometimes… or I’d be forever drinking and having a good time’
Voluptuous Kelly Brook is famed for her incredible curves – as well as her empowering attitude towards them.
‘I’m very proud to be curvy,’ is a statement she is happy to make, time after time.
But when the 38-year-old said on ITV’s Loose Women that her Italian model boyfriend, Jeremy Parisi, controls her eating by banning her from having dessert two days in a row, things got, well, awkward.
Kelly revealed, ‘I’m the person who’s like, “Let’s have another drink, let’s have another dessert.” He’d be like, “You had a dessert last night, you don’t need one tonight,” or, “You had a drink this afternoon, you don’t need another one.”
‘He’s the sensible one,’ she added. ‘He just keeps me on the straight and narrow. I suggested having friends round for drinks on his birthday, but he said, “No, you have work on Monday.”’
Her confession not only caused raised eyebrows on the panel, but also prompted viewers to take to social media to voice concerns that Jeremy was ‘controlling’, saying, ‘ Who in their right mind would want a man like Kelly Brook’s boyfriend? No thanks.’
Another simply tweeted, ‘Kelly Brook’s relationship is troubling.’
One irate online reader went on to comment, ‘A guy telling me what I can and can’t have and do under the guise of being caring and sensible? Erm, no thank you!’
Despite Kelly’s insistent claims that she’s had the happiest three years with her 32-year-old toy boy, another commentator tweeted, ‘She’ll see it eventually. Just hope he hasn’t done too much damage by then.’
Kelly, who has previously dated actor Jason Statham as well as rugby stars Danny Cipriani and Thom Evans, added, ‘Jeremy definitely parents me sometimes. Or I’d be forever drinking and having a good time.’
And she doesn’t seem to mind in the slightest, saying, ‘Nice to have someone more grounded than I am.’
But there’s being looked after and, no matter how much you love someone, being told what to do – isn’t there, Kelly?
