‘The hijack was a massive dent in the holiday’

Katie Price, 40, former glamour model and now TV personality, has been married three times, and is mum to Harvey, 16, Junior, 13, Princess, 11, Jett, four, and Bunny, three.

The show is called My Crazy Life. Is the title spot on?

There has been so much pressure in my life in the last six months, and now people can see how I coped with it. I was geared up to film the second series, yet I would never have imagined in a million years what was about to hit me going through this show. A lot of it has been quite dramatic.

So, what will we see?

Daily life, such as juggling five kids, but also going through a very hard time in my life and trying to cope with the breakdown of my marriage. I find out that Kieran has been cheating – more than once – and, basically, it’s the lowest point of my life. I mean, you name it, it has happened – two horses died and my German shepherd was run over by the pizza delivery driver.

You were even the victim of a car-jacking in South Africa…

It was a jam-packed adventure, that even included swimming with sharks… but the hijack was a massive dent in the holiday, and we’re still having therapy for it now.

You also got some terrible news about your mum, Amy…

I find out my mum has a terminal lung disease. You’ll see her visit to the specialist followed by

questions like, ‘How long has she got to live?’ Yes, it’s upsetting, but I have no other option than to do it.

Does your new boyfriend Kris feature in the show?

You see a bit of Kris, but it’s not all about him. Remember, my show is reality, so nothing is hidden. Kris has been training Harvey – so you’ll see a big difference in him. Princess and Junior are hilarious and people love them. They’ve been used to it their whole lives so are comfortable in front of the cameras. Bunny and Jett are too young to understand, really. My Crazy Life is on Quest Red on Monday at 10pm.
