2 The Bletchley Circle: San Francisco WEDNESDAY, ITV, 9PM NEW SERIES Join the heroines on the trail of a killer who struck down a Bletchley girl during the war. Jean (Julie Graham) has evidence that the killer is in San Francisco, and he has a brutal calling card – cutting out his victim’s tongues.

3 Love Your Garden TUESDAY, ITV, 8PM NEW SERIES Alan Titchmarsh and his team of green-fingered experts return to transform people’s backyards. Their first lucky customer is 90-year-old Betty Hicks, whose garden is transforme­d into a safe haven.

4 Sick Note THURSDAY, SKY ONE, 10PM, AND NOW TV NEW SERIES Lindsay Lohan brings a touch of Hollywood sparkle to this drama, starring Harry Potter’s Rupert Grint as a man who is misdiagnos­ed with cancer and decides to carry on pretending to be ill. The black comedy also stars Corrie’s Alison King.

5 Eat, Shop, Save THURSDAY, ITV, 7.30PM
