Not only is it scripted by Debbie Horsfield of Poldark fame, but it boasts a pretty amazing cast, too. Polly Walker plays Bel, long married to Wesley (James Murray), who is suffering from empty nest syndrome now their twins have left home. Enter brother-in-law Teddy (Robson Green) who, to complicate matters, has long been in love with her, begging her to rescue the family business – a down-at-heel beauty salon. The high-maintenance family also includes mother Ivy-Rae (Sue Johnston), and sister Tina (Lisa Riley). Polly says, ‘People will enjoy getting to know this family and they will hopefully get swept away with Bel’s story. This is about Bel and her emancipation. She is free to discover who she is for the very first time – it is exciting!’
