Christine’s revenge: ‘I’d inflict pain!’

The usually coy Christine Lampard has opened up about how she’d react if she ever caught Frank cheating…

Pregnant Christine Lampard has admitted to a ‘revenge’ plan if she ever catches footballer hubby Frank cheating – and it’s pretty painful…

Things took an unusual turn when the Loose Women presenter was chatting on air about Olympian Lizzie Purbrick – the showjumper who admitted writing insults in pigs’ blood across her former partner’s walls after she found him with another woman.

Asked what she would do in a similar situation, the Northern Irish beauty exclaimed, ‘I wouldn’t be good at all.’

She confessed, ‘I think I could inflict pain, yeah.’

Mischievous fellow panellist Jane Moore then asked which ‘part’ of her hubby she would take revenge on. ‘There are several parts, put it that way!’ joked Christine.

The couple are expecting their first baby together at the end of this year, so maybe it’s all those pregnancy hormones getting the star so fired up. But Christine then reflected that taking revenge would bring its own problems.

‘ You do lower yourself and you can never really pull it back, and it proves to your partner why they don’t want to be with you,’ she said. ‘At the same time, I do get that when people are just really hurt and angry, they can have a moment of complete and utter madness.’

It’s not the first time Christine has made a hilarious confession. In April, she told the Loose Women panel that the former Chelsea footballer, 40, would sometimes give her the cold shoulder because he’d dreamt she was cheating on him!

Christine laughed, ‘Frank would occasionally have weird little dreams and wake up and say, “I’m not talking to you this morning.” I’d ask him why, and he’d say, “I dreamt that you were a bit naughty last night,” and I’d sit back and say, “Oh, what did I do this time?”’

The star also remarked that jealousy was a ‘positive thing’ in their relationship because it shows ‘we appreciate each other and, you know, would hate for it to end.’

OK… Whatever works for you and Frank, Christine!
