You can’t choose your family but we wonder if Meghan Markle wishes you could... especially as one of the most vocal members (her half-sister Samantha Grant) has hinted that she might be going into Celebrity

Samantha, 53, has regularly offered us her opinions on the Duchess of Sussex – despite admitting that the pair haven’t seen each other in a decade, and last spoke on the phone in 2015.
But, according to William Hill, Samantha is odds on to become a housemate on CBB, which returns on 17 August.
And the entry of someone related to a member of the British royal family could spell catastrophe – so if there is any truth to the rumours, we’re sure Meghan isn’t the only royal coming out in a cold sweat.
On Good Morning Britain just last week, Samantha begged Meghan to ‘visit Dad’ who had found it difficult to contact his daughter since his reported heart attack in May.
‘They were texting for a while but that ceased so I think he’s very worried. He feels isolated,’ she explained.
Asked if talking about her family on TV was ‘ helping’ the duchess, Samantha said she had no choice as it was the only way to reach her.
In a previous interview, Piers Morgan accused Samantha of cashing in on her sister’s fame.
Her reply was telling. ‘Let’s face it, money makes the world goes around.’
As was her response to Charlotte Hawkins when pushed on the CBB rumours. ‘I could tell you but then I would have to kill you,’ she laughed.
Since the fairy-tale wedding of Meghan and Prince Harry on 19 May, it’s just the duchess and her mother Doria Ragland who’ve kept a dignified silence.
First, Samantha slammed Harry for being a ‘wuss’, saying his late mother, Diana, ‘would be ashamed’ at how many of the family had been left off the guest list.
Next, Meghan’s half-brother Thomas Markle Jnr, 51, blasted the ‘fake fairy tale’ and urged Harry to call off the wedding – before back-tracking on his ‘moment of madness’. He was later arrested for holding a gun to his girlfriend’s head...
Even her reclusive, Mexico-based father, Thomas, admitted he was paid to pose for paparazzi photos that were then sold around the world.
Now her father claims his daughter is visibly unhappy in her new royal role: ‘I think she is terrified. I see it in her eyes, her face and her smile… I know her smile. I don’t like the one I’m seeing now.’
Freezing out family members may be the best way to deal with the constant ‘revelations’ but that makes it no less stressful for the duchess. Chin up, Meghan, it’s time to channel your stiffest British upper lip...
And hope the CBB rumours are untrue – although we doubt that will stop Samantha having as many moments in the spotlight as she can...
