Charlotte Riley and Ben Chaplin star in this drama set in the cut-throat world of newspaper journalism. The pair, staff on rival newspapers, go head-to-head in this fast-paced drama. Charlotte (aka Mrs Tom Hardy) plays deputy news editor of the serious broadsheet The Herald, while Apple Tree Yard’s Ben is the editor of flashy tabloid The Post. They’ll be joined by Games Of Thrones stars Ellie Kendrick and Brendan Cowell, who play newspaper staffers. The six-part show will track the lives of reporters and editors charged with bringing readers the latest scoop – while outselling their rivals.
