The first episode is a weight-loss special. Davina meets a couple who’ve vowed to lose 20st, and a nurse who’s been putting off her wedding for 17 years, as she’s terrified of being a fat bride. ‘ With this series, we have concentrat­ed on health and well-being – with people making some radical changes to their lives,’ says the TV hostess. ‘Anybody thinking of making changes will be inspired by these stories. We don’t help them achieve their goals, they have to do it themselves.’ So, if you’re seeking some thin-spiration, tune in.

2 Eurovision You Decide

FRIDAY, BBC TWO, 7.30PM Britain may have a pretty poor track record at the Eurovision Song Contest of late, but at least we can still have some fun trying. This year, the public has the chance to decide which song will go to Tel Aviv, Israel. Mel Giedroyc and Måns Zelmerlöw –who won in 2015 – host, as six artists perform three songs. But there can only be one winner…
