‘Ihad better say this quietly but I can feel the wind changing and it appears to be going against the prevailing gale of scaremongering and resulting restrictions. Ordinary people like Rochdale granny Maureen (‘I don’t give a sod’) Eames and thousands of others are speaking out against the government’s continuing response to the Coronavirus. At last.
For too long now, people have done as they were told, obeying the rules, reporting others who don’t, staying at home, wearing masks and generally acting as though they’re not human.
As you might say for good reason back in March, when we were faced with what was purported to be the virus that would wipe out the human race.
But now we absolutely know it’s mostly lethal to people who are very old or who have pre-existing health conditions.
That’s not the majority.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not saying, and have never said, that this virus isn’t real but what I have said from the beginning is that it cannot be controlled by controlling the population.
Which has now been all but proven since we are supposedly facing a worse ‘second wave’, despite all the rules, restrictions and lockdowns.
And yet, the government seeks to do it all again. But, with the onset of Winter, the prospect of Christmas being ruined, not to mention the endless and increasingly nonsensical, unscientific diktats with their made-to-fit justifications, people have had enough.
I just hope that this time, it is the majority.’
