The GC! Getting on-board with the Spring shape-up
It’s that time of year again and, like a lot of us, former TOWIE star Gemma Collins is a woman on a mission to lose weight!
The GC is determined to get healthy and slim down – and judging by her social media posts in recent weeks, she means business.
Gemma Collins, 40, has been posting her weight-loss progress for fans – revealing just last week that she’d done a 10-mile walk, as she posed proudly in black workout gear.
Taking to Instagram ( looking positively glowing), the Essex queen posted a sassy pic doing the ‘peace’ sign, alongside the caption, ‘10 MILES! Woohoo YEAH BABY, I’m so proud of myself! I could only do 2 miles a few weeks back!’
She added: ‘I’m loving my transformation, mentally and physically. Also put a call in to @realtamerhassan for some motivation on the walk and he said Gemma!!! Don’t fall at the last hurdle – he’s right! I gotta keep going! Thank you. So, girls, ring ya crush if you need motivation… he he!’
Fans of the reality star swiftly bombarded the post with positive comments, like ‘unreal!’ and ‘ look at that waist! Stay at it, girlfriend!’
The previous week, The GC had shared an equally impressive video of her gruelling garden workout. In the Instagram video, wearing a black sports top and leggings, Gem proudly displayed her bare midriff as she got to grips with a fitness rope.
Gemma, who it’s believed has lost 3st recently, told followers, hilariously, that she’d swapped shopping for squat thrusts: ‘It’s not about how you look, it’s how you feel. I’ve been training since 7.30. Yes, it’s Saturday, yes, I’d probably normally be going shopping.’
‘I have loved the lockdown because of the time it’s given me,’ she added. ‘I’ve made so many changes in my life. I hope you can be on the ropes and squat-thrusting like me. I was terrible when I started, but now I’ve got the buzz for it and I love it.’
Celebs like Real Housewives of Cheshire’s Seema replied, ‘Look at you!’ followed by fire emojis – and psychic to the stars, Sally Morgan, added, ‘Slaying!’ with hearts and hand clapping emoticons.
We can’t wait to see what this blonde bombshell does next – if Gemma truly has got the fitness bug, then the sky’s the limit!
