They say ‘These are our top-level winter riding gloves. Made from Gore-tex, leather and synthetic leather, these gloves are fully waterproof with a thinsulate thermal lining, ideal for cold weather riding.’ We say ‘These are certainly comfortable and having tried them on a couple of chilly rides they seem to provide decent warmth. The cuff is quite short and not bulky so is good under textile jacket sleeves, and being Gore-tex water ingress is highly unlikely. There’s no hard armour to keep bulk to a minimum but there is a thin layer of Kushitani’s own K-foam in the knuckles for impact absorption. No wrist strap either so they are a bit too easy to pull off. Remove the Kushitani and Gore-tex logos though and I’m not entirely sure they feel worthy of the big price tag. Only time will tell.’
